OUR STORY

Kalu's Seasoning Blends began in 2019, producing all-natural spices and seasonings and showcasing our artisan crafted spices in various farmers markets and local health food stores via demos around the DMV.  We were found in Eastern Market on various weekends.  Our spices and pre-packaged meals were also stocked at Takoma Park - Silver Spring Co-Op, Living Well in Silver Spring, Fresh Food Factory in DC, and GLUT in Mt. Rainier for a time. We also had a short stint offering spices online.  Customers enjoyed the samples enough to request our catering and from there, Trini Vybez food truck was born.  Though we no longer offer spices and prepackaged meals, we are excited to navigate our food journey into restaurant service offering traditional authentic Trinidadian cuisine such as roti, doubles, and pholourie.
