Kalu's Seasoning Blends began producing all-natural spices and seasonings through the appreciation of Caribbean cultures. The company observed the benefits of utilizing all-purpose seasonings which have been used for generations in the island of Trinidad and Tobago, that of which are not well known internationally. These spices were utilized in demos in local stores and farmers markets as a flavor enhancer to many dishes. Through these demos, customers requested to purchase the food on the spot despite the fact that food was not for sale. From there, Kalu's decided to continue the challenge of producing the same spice/seasoning formula without the artificial flavors, preservatives, and additives. As a result of that success, Kalu's expanded into catering and to date, mobile vending. We value preservative free, unadulterated methods to traditional cooking and hope our customers continue to support our mission.
